Overview

The COMLUK Individual Professional Identity Service provides a hosted digital profile designed to help a client present who they are, what they do, and how they can be reached.

Each client receives a personalized COMLUK Profile associated with the client's COMLUK Account ID, a unique Profile Reference, and a dynamic QR code. The profile is hosted and managed by COMLUK Solutions and may be updated, expanded, or redesigned over time without requiring the assigned QR code to be replaced.

This document provides a general baseline for the service. Specific prices, quantities, timelines, revision limits, physical products, optional features, and special conditions are stated separately in the applicable quotation, order confirmation, or companion document.

Nature of the Service

COMLUK Profile is a managed, hosted professional identity service. It is not the sale or delivery of an HTML file, source code package, hosting package, or transferable software system.

The profile serves as a central professional entry point through which visitors may access approved information, contact options, online platforms, services, and supported functionality associated with the client.

Core Service Components

Subject to the selected package and quotation, the service may include:

• One personalized COMLUK Profile.
• Association with the client's COMLUK Account ID.
• One unique Profile Reference for the COMLUK Profile service.
• One dynamic QR code connected to the profile.
• Hosting and publication by COMLUK Solutions.
• A mobile-friendly profile experience.
• Initial configuration using client-submitted information and assets.
• Approved contact actions and external links.
• Profile authentication or verification status, where applicable.
• A selected profile structure or template.
• Digital profile access information and QR-code files.
• Basic usage or setup instructions.

Optional items, add-ons, physical products, integrations, and expanded services are included only where stated in the applicable quotation or companion document.

Profile Content and Functionality

A COMLUK Profile may present professional or business information supplied and approved by the client. Depending on the selected service, this may include:

• Name, title, biography, qualifications, or professional summary.
• Business or organization information.
• Telephone, email, messaging, website, and social-platform links.
• Products, services, portfolios, galleries, documents, or media.
• Booking, payment, storefront, contact, or other supported functions.
• Additional approved information relevant to the client’s professional identity.

The availability, design, placement, and operation of any feature depend on the selected profile structure, package, platform support, and information supplied by the client.

Dynamic QR Code

Each active profile is associated with a unique dynamic QR code. The QR code acts as a continuing access point to the client’s COMLUK Profile and may remain usable when profile content, design, template, supported features, or underlying destination arrangements change.

The QR code may be used on approved printed and digital materials, including business cards, email signatures, signs, packaging, promotional materials, and similar applications.

The assigned QR code does not transfer ownership of the COMLUK system, infrastructure, or profile platform to the client.

Authentication and Verification

COMLUK Profiles may display an authentication, verification, account, or service status intended to help visitors assess whether the profile is recognized and in good standing within the COMLUK platform.

The appearance and operation of status indicators may change as the service develops. Verification does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement, licence, professional certification, or warranty of the client’s services, claims, conduct, or business activities.

Before a COMLUK Profile is published or distributed for public use, COMLUK requires satisfactory written documentation reasonably sufficient to verify the identity of the individual, business, or organization represented by the Profile.

Where the Profile will be established, funded, administered, maintained, or otherwise managed by a person or organization other than the represented party, that arrangement must be disclosed to COMLUK in writing before the Profile is created, published, or distributed.

COMLUK may require a signed Identity & Management Authorization Form or other written authorization confirming that the proposed manager is permitted to act on behalf of the represented party. A later change in authorized management may also require written notice and renewed verification.

COMLUK may delay or refuse publication, management access, transfer of control, or continued operation of a Profile until required identity and authorization checks have been completed. These requirements are intended to reduce fraud, impersonation, and unauthorized control of Profile services.

Hosting and Continued Availability

All COMLUK Profiles are hosted and managed by COMLUK Solutions unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.

The client does not receive the underlying HTML files, source code, templates, hosting environment, or platform infrastructure as part of the standard service.

Continued public access to the profile may depend on:

• An active service or hosting arrangement.
• Payment of applicable recurring charges.
• Compliance with COMLUK service terms and acceptable-use requirements.
• The continued availability and maintenance of the COMLUK platform.
• Accurate, lawful, and appropriate client-submitted content.

Where applicable fees remain unpaid or the service terms are materially breached, the profile may be suspended, restricted, or made unavailable until the matter is resolved.

General Service Process

The standard process may include the following stages, subject to the applicable quotation or order arrangement:

1. A quotation or service summary is issued.
2. The client accepts the service and makes the required payment or deposit.
3. The client submits the requested information, images, links, and supporting materials.
4. COMLUK Solutions prepares the profile and any included related assets.
5. The client reviews the submitted preview or proof.
6. Approved corrections or revisions are completed.
7. The client provides final approval.
8. COMLUK Solutions publishes, connects, and tests the profile and QR code.
9. Included digital assets are delivered.
10. Included physical products or additional services are completed and delivered separately, where applicable.
11. Ongoing hosting or service continues according to the active arrangement.

The sequence may be adjusted where necessary to suit the nature of the order, available tools, client requirements, or operational procedures.

Client Deliverables

The client may receive a digital delivery package containing the approved materials included in the order. Depending on the quotation, this may include:

• Profile URL and reference information.
• QR-code files in one or more suitable formats.
• Email-signature files and setup instructions.
• Approved previews or production artwork.
• Usage, sharing, installation, or update instructions.
• Other agreed digital assets.

Physical products, packaging, engraving, printing, and delivery are handled according to the terms stated in the applicable quotation or order confirmation.

Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

• Providing complete, current, and accurate information.
• Providing requested identity documentation and signed verification materials before publication.
• Disclosing in writing where another person or organization will manage the Profile and providing any required signed authorization.
• Reviewing all names, contact details, links, images, and content before approval.
• Ensuring that submitted material may lawfully be used and published.
• Obtaining any required permissions relating to logos, photographs, trademarks, documents, media, or third-party content.
• Providing approvals and requested information within a reasonable timeframe.
• Paying applicable setup, production, hosting, update, delivery, and other agreed charges.
• Informing COMLUK Solutions when profile information needs to be corrected or updated.
• Using the profile, QR code, and related materials lawfully and appropriately.

COMLUK Solutions is not responsible for an error that originated in client-submitted information and was approved by the client before publication or production.

Review, Corrections, and Revisions

The number and scope of included revisions are stated in the applicable quotation, order confirmation, or companion document.

Corrections required because of an error made by COMLUK Solutions will be addressed without additional charge.

Additional charges may apply to changes that fall outside the included scope, including substantial redesigns, replacement of approved content, new functionality, template changes, additional production, or updates requested after final approval.

Where physical products are included, production may begin only after the client approves the final design or proof. Changes requested after approval may result in additional cost, delay, or replacement charges.

Profile Updates and Expansion

Because the profile is dynamic, approved content and functionality may be updated without replacing the assigned QR code.

The method, frequency, cost, and availability of updates depend on the active package, service arrangement, supported tools, and scope of the requested change.

Major redesigns, extensive content replacement, new integrations, new add-ons, or expanded functionality may require a separate quotation or companion agreement.

Ownership and Intellectual Property

The client retains ownership of original content supplied by the client, including names, photographs, logos, written material, business information, product images, and other original assets, subject to any third-party rights.

The client grants COMLUK Solutions permission to use, reproduce, format, resize, publish, and display submitted content as reasonably necessary to create, host, maintain, support, and deliver the agreed service.

COMLUK Solutions retains ownership of the underlying platform and associated intellectual property, including:

• Source code and system architecture.
• Profile templates and design frameworks.
• Editors, builders, internal tools, and workflows.
• Authentication, verification, and account systems.
• Dynamic QR infrastructure and routing systems.
• Add-on structures, modules, and platform logic.
• COMLUK branding, documentation, and supporting software.

Purchase or use of a COMLUK Profile does not transfer ownership of the underlying COMLUK platform, templates, code, or system design.

Public Profile Notice

COMLUK Profiles are intended to be publicly accessible unless otherwise stated in writing.

The client should not submit confidential, private, restricted, or sensitive information that the client does not want displayed or made accessible to visitors.

The client remains responsible for deciding what information is appropriate for inclusion in the profile.

Suspension or Restriction

COMLUK Solutions may suspend, restrict, or remove access to a profile where reasonably necessary, including where:

• Applicable fees remain unpaid.
• The profile contains unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, infringing, or prohibited material.
• The profile is used for impersonation, deception, unauthorized activity, or harm.
• The client materially breaches the applicable service terms.
• Action is required to protect the platform, its users, COMLUK Solutions, or a third party.
• Maintenance, security, technical, legal, or operational circumstances require temporary restriction.

Where practical and appropriate, COMLUK Solutions may notify the client and provide an opportunity to correct the issue.

The assigned QR code may remain unchanged during suspension, but the profile or associated service may not be publicly accessible.

Completion and Ongoing Service

The initial setup portion of the service is considered complete when the included profile and related assets have been approved, published, connected, tested, delivered, or otherwise completed according to the applicable order.

Hosting, public availability, supported updates, and any recurring services continue according to the client’s active service arrangement and applicable companion terms.

This document is a general service overview and baseline. It should be read together with the COMLUK Solutions Terms of Service and COMLUK Solutions Privacy Policy and may be supplemented by product-specific or order-specific companion documents, including:

• Quotation or invoice.
• COMLUK Solutions Terms of Service.
• COMLUK Solutions Privacy Policy.
• COMLUK Profile Privacy Policy.
• COMLUK Profile Identity & Management Authorization Form.
• Order confirmation or scope of work.

Where a product-specific agreement, quotation, order confirmation, or other companion document contains a more specific term relating to a particular Profile service or order, that specific term applies to that matter. The COMLUK Solutions Terms of Service and Privacy Policy remain the company-wide foundation.

It supplements, but does not replace, the COMLUK Solutions Terms of Service, COMLUK Solutions Privacy Policy, or any applicable COMLUK Profile product-specific agreement or privacy notice.
